After years of perfecting techniques that were taught to him
mainly by Rod Evans, who may very well be the highest regarded digital portrait
painter in the United States today, Brian now offers 3 different ways to
transform his photographic art into beautiful, timeless, custom oil paintings of
incredible quality and aesthetic appeal on
Artist's Canvas, mounted on stretcher-board frames, ready to frame and hang over
the sofa or mantle in your living room or den.
Brian specializes in both regular oil paintings and the Impasto variety (and
will also do watercolors by request). Brian's style uses mostly smaller brushes
and shorter brush strokes in order to retain some of the detail of the original
photograph. In areas where more detail is desirable, like faces or around a
subjects eyes, Brian then selectively reduces the opacity of the
painting around only those areas, so that some of the detail
or the subjects face remains recognizable by partially allowing some of
the original photograph to "show through" his brush strokes. This style and
technique is being used by many top artists today to create incredible pieces of
art, and they must be seen in person to truly be appreciated. Reproducing these
images on the web does them NO justice at all.
First, paintings can be made from any of your favorite images
from your family, baby, senior, engagement or bridal portrait session--images
from any of our photo sessions. Or, you can have any of your favorite wedding
photographs transformed into a true work of art that will be cherished for
generations to come. It will certainly become a family heirloom.
Secondly, you may also privately commission Brian to photograph and then paint any subject,
location or local attraction that may hold a special place in your heart. Your
champion bird-dog, prize-winning horse or any beloved pet. Maybe your
beautifully landscaped home or even the flower garden that you worked so hard to
create. All are perfect, PERSONAL subjects for a wall-decor painting.
And third, Brian will constantly be adding photographs to his stock library, but certain, select images will be created exclusively for paintings. He will paint one for display, then offer it as a limited edition piece, with only 50 being made of each one. Each Limited Edition will be signed and numbered one through fifty, and once the fiftieth is ordered, no more will be produced. He will also offer certain paintings as "one of a kind" pieces of art, and will only produce and sign ONE for a chance for you to own a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Oil Paintings are available on artist's canvas in wall-decor sizes of 16"x20", 20"x24", 24"x30", 30"x40" and now even 40"x50". Custom sizes can also be arranged from 20" to 50" on the long edge.
